Swede-Wheel develops competence.
Swede-Wheel is in a growth phase on more than one front. We are becoming more employees operating in an increasingly global market in various industries that require broad and, above all, sharp skills.

John Löw, who is involved in the internal competence work, tells us more:
- Here in Hillerstorp, we have worked with wheels for over 80 years, which of course means that there is an incredibly high level of knowledge inside the house. We have always had a natural transfer of skills between those who have been here for a long time and the new ones who join, but as new colleagues become more numerous, and are often added, we now invest even more in internal training.
How will this take form?
- In practical terms, this means that we have developed several different paths to education such as films, articles and interactive material to smoothly and easily get into Swede-Wheel and our business. The material is primarily aimed at those who are newly employed, but also serves as a library where we gather knowledge that is available to everyone.
Of course, a lot of emphasis is placed on the product and its properties, but we also want to take a broader grip on competence and expand knowledge of our entire business. We believe there is a lot to be gained by having an understanding of how all departments work at Swede-Wheel.
What will be the benefits?
- It goes without saying that a broader and deeper knowledge will always benefit the customer, but we do not want the learning to stay with us, we see a great advantage if our customers know more about our products. Within the next few months, we will launch a new page on our web that will act as a knowledge bank. Both across our range and about the properties of a wheel or materia. Here, our test department is super important as they find new knowledge every day and at the same time challenge old industry truths. By increasing the knowledge of our customers, I am convinced that the entire industry will benefits.
