TPU castors
TPU, which stands for thermoplastic polyurethane, also known as thermoplastic rubber, combines the best of both worlds. Wheels made of this material have a relatively hard and durable tread while retaining the properties of a soft tread. The hard tread can be likened to nylon, and with a hardness rating of 98° Shore A, it offers low rolling resistance.
TPU - The problem solver
A new application for a customer's cart required a quieter wheel with the same properties as elastic rubber.

To avoid scratches and marks, a good rule of thumb is to have a wheel tread softer than the surface it rolls on. TPU can handle high loads while maintaining low rolling resistance and maneuverability. The soft tread helps dampen vibrations from the surface, thereby reducing noise levels. TPU also has good resistance to substances such as grease and oil.
However, TPU is not the ideal choice for wheels that will operate in extremely high or low temperatures. In such environments, the material becomes rigid, and its weight-bearing capacity decreases.
The Range
You can find our TPU wheels in a variety of sizes ranging from 50 to 250mm. We offer TPU treads in all our standard brackets, whether you prefer a swivel, fixed, or directional lock bracket. Our team will assist you in finding the right solution for your needs.
Test center
The testing center is a significant part of our operations. It plays a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and provides valuable opportunities to acquire in-depth technical knowledge.
Testing is particularly useful when it comes to understanding materials. It provides a forum for objectively discussing the properties that materials possess or lack. The knowledge generated in the testing center is utilized by the development department, which then translates it into production processes.
