Discover swedish production in stuttgart!

Deep in the Swedish forest, movement comes alive. Nestled among the pines and spruces, you'll discover Swede-Wheel’s headquarters and main production unit—a place where nature's symphony of chirping birds, rustling trees, and even a moose’s “Bröl” harmonizes with the pulse of industry.

Here, the deep thump of a 200-ton metal press stamping a bracket meets the rhythmic dance of plastic pellets flowing through our material delivery system, while eight passionate minds gather in a room, relentlessly reinventing the wheel. This is not just production; it’s the unmistakable sound of Swedish innovation.

From idéa to castor

Development

Everything starts with an idéa. In our case that idéa is sprung from making it easier. Our idéa is to give the heaviest object motion and meanwhile make it easy for our customers to work with us. After 80 years of developing castors we dare to say we are really good at it. For many of our customers and partners we have become the natural choice for designing and developing their perfect castor.

Production

Our highly automated production facility, capable of working with both metal and plastic, allows us to operate swiftly and agilely while efficiently managing large volumes. By maintaining our own tooling department, we ensure complete control and ownership of every step in the process.

We pride ourselves on keeping as much production in-house as possible, which not only strengthens our capabilities but also makes us a more dependable partner.

A Glocal mindset

We are strong believers that you should buy the things you need from where you are. That is why we always have a glocal mindset when we do business. What does that mean? It is easy, it means that if you are buying castors in europe we want to produce them here. If you are buying castors in Asisa, we produce them there!
