Swede-Wheel Hillerstorp are growing

Forward and upward, Swede-Wheel grows as yesterday's visions become tomorrow's goals. This is evident not least in the fact that we are more colleagues than ever, both in Sweden, China and Germany. Another part where development, and ambitionone, is moving forward is manufacturing and this is most recently visible in Hillerstorp with an increase in the machinery.

New maschine on Swede-Wheel.

We are convinced that control over the manufacturing process benefits Swede-Wheel but above all our customers. This conviction forms the basis for Swede-Wheel's new investment in machining, maintaining, and manufacturing tools for both sheet metal pressing and injection moulding.

Tobias HIldingsson, Production Manager puts it like this:

" To further develop our in-house tool manufacturing capability is a further step in the journey towards owning the entire manufacturing process. We develop our expertise at the same time as we create the conditions for us to offer an even sharper offer. It also gives us the opportunity, and a completely different space to, test new ideas. But the biggest advantage will be the direct customer benefit where we can quickly and easily make minor adjustments on our wheels and castors according to the customer's needs. "

Injection moulding machines

Complete manufacturing of tools is relatively new idea to us and a new focus area - unlike the manufacture of wheels, where we dare to call ourselves experienced. The two injection moulders that were delivered to the factory in Hillerstorp two weeks ago are a welcome addition! The two injection moulds, together with a robotic arm, create a full line where both hub and tread are manufactured into a complete wheel. The purpose of the investment stems from an increased need for production capacity and the new line is expected to run at full speed shortly.
